You Might Be Asking - "What is Flat Rate Pricing?"

Flat rate pricing is also known as fixed rate pricing, assured pricing, and goes by other names. It’s all about offering a firm fixed price, up front, before any work begins. Approximately 35% of the HVAC and plumbing industry uses flat rate pricing in their service departments. Essentially 100% already use it in their installation and maintenance departments.

The AEMS companies use flat rate pricing because we find that it gives our valued customers a feeling of comfort and certainty to know exactly what their repair or replacement cost will be in advance.

Flat rate pricing is simply offering to do a job (of any kind) for a fixed price. In order to give you a fixed price, we must first determine what the problem is.

There are two basic types of calls for action from our customers:

1. You know what is wrong, or failed, and you are requesting a price for a replacement of an air conditioner, furnace, hot water heater, etc. There is never a service or diagnostic fee to provide a quotation under this scenario.

2. You have no air conditioning, heat, or hot water and do not know why.

In this situation, there is a low $85.00 diagnostic fee to determine what is wrong. When we know what has failed, we can then provide you with a flat rate price for the repair or replacement.
